The Castillo family of Miami, FL held their 6th annual #teammatthewluis dinner and raffle fundraiser and raised over $18,000.00!
Mom, Martha Castillo, tells their story of fundraising with PMSF…
We have a beautiful 10 year old boy named Matthew Luis. He is very loved by his parents and twin brother as well as all his teachers and therapists. He is also loved and supported by many friends and family that we are proud to call Team Matthew Luis. In Miami, FL we just had the 6th annual #teammatthewluis dinner and raffle fundraiser in March and raised over $18,000.00! It just keeps growing each year.
We fundraise for PMSF because when we received Matthew’s diagnosis 7 years ago, we were completely lost. We were blessed to have found PMSF which has been our main resource of information, support and guidance through the years. We hope in Matthew’s lifetime, we can find a possible treatment or cure. Thank you PMSF for helping us and so many families around the world. We will continue to support this amazing international foundation.
We want to thank John Martin’s Irish Pub in Coral Gables, FL for giving us the opportunity to host our event at their newly remodeled pub! A special thank you to all the businesses for your donations and support. A special shout out to The Miami Heat, The Rotary Club of Hialeah-Miami Springs, Miami-Dade, County Commissioner Kevin Marino Cabrera, Somerset Academy, and Real Estate Sales Force (RESF). Finally, we also wish to thank Matthew’s school, therapy center and our other main resources:
UM-NSU CARD (Center for Autism and Related Disabilities), Great Heights Academy, Mestre Behavior and Better Kids Therapy
Thank you Castillo family for your ongoing support!
