Forever Connected, Forever Remembered

PMSF WALL OF REMEMBRANCE

Honoring Those We Have Lost

Families who have lost a child or adult child with Phelan-McDermid syndrome are invited to submit the names of their loved one to be included on PMSF’s Wall of Remembrance. This virtual wall offers a meaningful space for families and the community to come together and honor their loved ones’ memories. It is our hope that this wall becomes a place of reflection, remembrance, and connection, a quiet testament to the lives that continue to inspire our work and our hearts.

To submit your loved one’s details to be added to the Wall of Remembrance, please complete the form that is linked at the bottom of the page. Please reach out to us at info@pmsf.org with any questions.

We are here for you, and we carry your child’s memory with us in all that we do at PMSF.

Dax : )

Dax was adventurous. He loved boat rides, the beach, rollercoasters, and running — always running. He was pure joy in motion, forever curious, and he brought laughter into every space he entered. His giggle? It could disarm even the weariest soul. He was motion and laughter and mischief. He was sunshine with sneakers on. We miss you every day sweet boy! I hope you’re riding those rollercoasters and running on the beach! Until we see each other again <3

I hope Kora is by your side and Phineas and Ferb is on repeat (only your favorite episodes). You are missed and celebrated daily. You continue to teach me everyday. High fives and head butts, sweet boy. Xox

Chelsey we miss you and everything about you. Your smile, humor, happiness, and love for others. You will never be forgotten. Until we meet again, Hocka-Hocka. Continue to shine bright in your star. ⭐️

Emilie Gasquez

Mon chaton, mon petit namour, tu es à tout jamais mon étoile, tu es parti si vite mon bébé, le temps d’un souffle et tu avais pris ton envol. Je t’aime plus que haut que la Lune et les étoiles.

Laure Martinet

It’s not easy to understand for those who didn’t really know her, but Laure was a gift, much more than a trial. She taught us love, patience, empathy, charity, and humility. She touched us with her grace and made us better people. Because that is, ultimately, the meaning of life: the love we pass on. And if we measure our existence by that light, then hers shone with immense clarity. And I will forever remain the luckiest big sister for having received and being able to pass on the infinite love she shared with us.

Gone from my sight but never from my heart. I will love you and miss you each and every day.

Shannon O'Boyle

Shannon taught patience, resilience, and the power of communication beyond words. She inspired us to work harder, love more, and embrace the beauty of “different.” In only 23 short years she accomplished all that she needed to. She lives in countless hearts.
