The Inaugural Meeting of the Consortium for Autism, Genetic Neurodevelopmental Disorders, and Digestive Diseases (CANDID) was held in 2022 to gain a better understanding of gastrointestinal (GI) issues in individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders (NDDs). We are pleased to announce the publication of the conference, which presents meaningful findings and future directions.
The Phelan-McDermid Syndrome Foundation (PMSF) provided funding for this initiative, and this research would not be possible without the support of our generous donors. We extend our gratitude to all who participated, including the dedicated scientists and researchers whom you may recognize, such as Dr. Billy Bennett, Dr. Julia Dallman, Dr. Alycia Halladay, Dr. Kate Still, and many others.
