PMS mom and PMSF Regional REP, Jenn Carter, is creating an adventurous life with her family and sharing the raw truth on her blog, Have Grit and Grace. Jenn explains why she chose to share her story:

 

I felt inspired to start writing a blog to share my thoughts and our life with all our family and friends who do not live near us and don’t get to walk through everyday life with us.

 

So many of our friends know that we have a special needs child, but most of them have no idea what that actually means or what it looks like. Most of our family lives far away, so even they don’t understand how our lives are different because of Sloane. I called my blog “Have grit and grace” because that is what it takes to be a special needs parent. 

 

Our lives are a little unique in that we work in the adventure recreation field and we love to explore in the outdoors. The younger years for Sloane were really hard, but as she’s getting older we want to continue bringing her places and giving her opportunities to experience the outdoors.

 

The attached photo is my new favorite family photo from our vacation to Rocky Mountain National Park this summer where we were definitely Phelan Lucky!
